The main philosophy in the development of Erenials is the "build-over". This concept does not consist in the permanent search for a new technology or a new protocol that is simply more efficient than the others, it aims at taking a break from the frenzy of innovation for innovation's sake to assess the current state of technologies and then define the best foundation on which to base a disruptive solution that, thanks to a novel approach, allows us to solve concrete and everyday problems. In this way, we build on proven technologies while discovering new fields of application that were previously unsuspected.

We are aware that the blockchain ecosystem is constantly developing and that technologies can change at any time. That's why we remain open to the possibility of redeploying the project to infrastructure more suited to new conditions to allow our project to continue to be at the forefront of innovation and excellence, while ensuring its stability and resilience. We strive to keep our project up to date and monitor the various technologies and protocols that exist so that we can adapt our project to the next technological disruptions. The technologies and protocols mentioned here do not bind the Erenials team.

Erenials relies on an open-source technology stack to be resilient and to provide continuous code maintenance in case of project downtime by its key contributors. This method offers us the possibility to keep our project up to date and maintained, even if service providers are no longer able to fulfill their obligations.

Although Erenials is relying on third-party infrastructures in the initial phases, we plan to eventually deploy a "Trust Chain" that will be based on an algorithm under development code named "PoEM".

With the objective of democratizing the use of blockchain for real applications, Erenials aims to simplify as much as possible the interactions between blockchain and users. Erenials offers a simple and intuitive interface that allows everyone, regardless of their current knowledge, to take full advantage of the new possibilities opened by this technology.

In order to facilitate the reception of users who are not familiar with web3 authentication methods, Erenials allows an authetification through third-party web2 services such as Google, Facebook and Twitter thanks to the OAuth 2.0 protocol. An authentication by email without password is also possible thanks to the magiclink API which combined with the thirdweb API allows the creation of a blockchain address and its link with the user's email. Thus, users coming from the web2 are not confused by the onboarding on Erenials which drastically reduces the friction in its use.

Because we do not intend to frustrate experienced web 3.0 users, a connection via the usual wallets (Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect, Rainbow) is possible so that they can keep a tight control on their assets at all times while taking advantage of the Erenials interface. Moreover, all the tools allowing a constant and open monitoring of the network are available so that its integrity is preserved permanently.

This desire for democratization is not limited to the means of authentication but also concerns one of the most important accessibility concerns: the language barrier. English does not have to have a monopoly on web3 solutions which, by essence, are open to the whole world. Developing a multilingual platform allows us to break all boundaries and ensure that our solution truly benefits everyone, regardless of their level of education or social integration. To do so, the Erenials platform uses the i18next internationalization framework to provide reliable and easy to maintain multilingual support.

The Erenials exchange platform that serves as the basis for the development of the project is based on the reservoir.tools API that allows the aggregation of liquidity from different NFT marketplaces. This API currently supports the Ethereum network, Polygon and the Goerli testnet.

The uniqueness of Erenials lies in the distinction between the main NFT that secures the icity and integrity of the content, and the access NFT derived from it that allows its consultation according to the rules established by the owner of the main NFT. For this purpose, we rely on Ethereum solutions. The access NFT required to access the content guaranteed by the main NFT acts as a "pay-wall". As creators can configure the pricing of their content, Erenials can also protect free content.

The contents can be hosted on-chain thanks to the Arweave protocol or off-chain on traditional infrastructures. Creators being free to dispose of their content, they are free to host it where they want.

Although several MIT-licensed front-end components have been used to accelerate the development of the solution, the inspiration and development of the Erenials interface is the work of the founding team, which will continually improve with the contribution of talented individuals who share our vision.
